Perched on the heights of the Moroccan Atlas Mountains, Douar Samra is a unique place located a little more than an hour from Marrakech in the Toubkal National Park, it is a true retreat surrounded by snowy peaks. A place whose style oscillates between the ethnic boutique-hotel and the family home that smells like good holidays.
Douar Samra has a total of nine rooms. Four of them are located in the main building and do not have electricity. Three others are in the outbuilding overlooking the garden and finally the very recent " Tree Houses " will delight those tempted by a night in the trees.
The many shady terraces and boudoirs, hammocks attached here and there in the garden and the well-kept flowerbeds make this hotel an idyllic place where the only concern, it must be admitted, is to choose the most comfortable corner to admire the view. As for the dining room, it is a convivial space where one does not hesitate to exchange with one's neighbour at the table. Here traditions are respected and you sit on footstools and benches around coffee tables. The connoisseurs will appreciate the Berber craftsmanship put in the spotlight.
